David Allen Saunders, 53, of Hughesville, MD passed away peacefully on January 3, 2013 at Hospice House of Charles County, Waldorf, MD. Born September 25, 1959 in Leonardtown, MD, he was the son of George P. Saunders and Margaret Miedzinski Saunders.

David was a self-employed beverage distributor for Saunders Distributors. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially being on his boat crabbing and fishing.

David was predeceased by his father.

He is survived by his mother, Margaret, of Hughesville, MD; wife, Terry L. Saunders; daughters, Jeanie M. Hafsi of Tampa, FL and Candy L. Quade of Linthicum, MD; son, Brian M. Saunders of Waldorf, MD; brothers, George M. Saunders, Sr. of Mechanicsville, MD; Joseph C. Saunders of La Plata, MD and William F. Saunders of Hughesville, MD. He is also survived by two grandchildren.

The family will receive friends for a Memorial Gathering on Wednesday, January 9, 2012 from 5:00 to 7:00p.m. at Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A., 30195 Three Notch Rd., Charlotte Hall, MD. A Memorial Service will be held at 7:00p.m.
