Larry Arthur Cullen, 60, of La Plata, Maryland crossed over to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 23, 2012.

Family and Friends will unite on Thursday, January 3, 2013 at 1:00 pm for a Memorial Service at Briscoe-Tonic Funeral Home Chapel, 2294 Old Washington Road, Waldorf, Maryland 20601. Interment will be private.

Larry was the Son of the late Helen M. and Larry P. Cullen.

He is survived by his daughters, Renee' and Melanie; sisters, Dale M. Yingling and Darleen M. Phares; and brother-in-law, Tommy Phares. He also is survived by his four Grandsons, one Granddaughter, and one Great Granddaughter and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by sisters Loretta F. Narrington and Helen L. Bender; one brother Zachary S. Cullen; brothers-in-law, David B. Yingling and Butch Narrington; nephews, Vincent Williams and Cody Cullen Langdon.

Larry was employed and greatly taken care of by the Spring Dell Center. Through them he was active in Charles County Student Social Education and received two awards in 2012. He received a Community Service Award from the Charles County Commissioners and an Award for Service from Point of Change Ministry. Larry loved casino nights at the Jaycees and was a die hard Cowboys fan.

The Family wishes to truly, truly, thank and have all of the people that have cared for, befriended and become his large exterior family at Spring Dell and his Group Home at Copley House. They are appreciated immensely for the Love and Care given to Larry.
