Mr. Darago was an auto body technician for 15 years and a member of Forest Park Baptist Church in Waldorf, MD.

He liked working on cars, riding dirt bikes, going fishing, and spending time with friends and family, but most of all spending time with the love of his life, Erica and his four children.

Son of the living Daniel Lee Darago and the living Brenda Joy Wyatt Darago.

Survived by his parents; his wife of six years, Erica Bates Darago; one son, James Lee Darago, Jr. of Waldorf, MD; three daughters, Alyssa Breann Darago of Waldorf, MD, Karley Ann Darago of Waldorf, MD, and Emma Lulu Darago of Waldorf, MD; one sister, Heather Darago of Pomfret, MD; and his father-in-law, Robert Bates and his mother-in-law, Lulu Bates.

Memorial Service on Saturday, December 22, 2012 at 12 noon at Forest Park Baptist Church (12995 Church Road, Waldorf, MD 20601) Clergy: Rev. Neil Grobler. Interment: Private.
