John Pitt "J.P." Jordan, Jr., of Waldorf, MD, passed away at Civista Medical Center in La Plata, MD on October 18, 2012. He was born December 4, 1972 at P.G. Hospital in Cheverly, MD to John Pitt Jordan and Donna Lynn Blackwell Mendez.

J.P. enjoyed all types of fishing, being with his family, and spending time with his children. He loved football and was a big Dallas Cowboys fan. Before J.P. became disabled, he worked as a Benefit Analyst for the National Sheet Metal Pension Fund in Alexandria, VA.

Aside from his parents, J.P. is also survived by his former wife, Christy Huseman; his two children, Dylon S. Jordan and Felicity N. Jordan; his brother, William J. Jordan; his nephew Donovyn Jordan; and other relatives and friends.

Family and friends will be received for J.P.'s Life Celebration on Tuesday, October 23, 2012 from 2:00PM to 4:00PM and from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A., 30195 Three Notch Road, Charlotte Hall, MD 20622. There will be a Funeral Service on Wednesday, October 24, 2012 at 11:00AM at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Queen of Peace Cemetery, 38888 Dr. Johnson Rd., Mechanicsville, MD 20659.

Pallbearers will be Merle Sutphin, Sr., Andrew Robertson, Michael Magruder, Michael Handcock, Jason LaBille, Dylon Jordan and William Jordan.
