Eugene Raymond Dahlstedt died September 12, 2012 at the age of 51. He was a resident of Indian Head, Maryland. Born June 1, 1961 in Cheverly, Maryland. He was the son of the late Eugene Raymond Dahlstedt, Jr., and he is survived by his mother Sharon Wicks.

Eugene loved to go boating. He loved going to the beach. Eugene built swimming pools. He was an avid sport's fan. Loved football, baseball and wrestling (he played as a child). He loved being with his family and friends. He was very funny and liked tell jokes and making other people laugh.

Eugene was a 1979 graduate of La Plata High School.

Survivors include: son James Raymond Dahlstedt and son Eugene Raymond Garner. Brother: John Shelley and his wife Chrissy Jenkins, sister: Karen Shelley'Phares and her husband Dennie, sister: Renee Wicks, nephew: Kyle Shelley and nieces: Amanda, Shannon and Brittany Shelley.

Family and friends will gather at The Huntt Funeral Home, 3035 Old Washington Road, Waldorf, Maryland on Saturday, October 6, 2012 at 1:00 pm. for a 2:00 pm. service. Burial will be private.
