Dorothy L. Lehman, 73, of Prince Frederick, Md. passed away June 24, 2012, at the Burnett- Calvert Hospice House, Prince Frederick, MD. She was born November 19, 1938, in Beaumont, TX to the late Dorothy Ida-Catherine Conway & the late John Marion Davidson.

She was married to the late John J. Lehman, Sr. for 45 years, before his passing in August, 2002.

She was a Navy wife & mother, keeping a home & raising her three children while moving every few years as duty called. Naples, Italy was the longest & most favorite of all duty stations having lived there for 5-1/2 years. After moving to St. Mary's County in 1974, she worked in retail stores for many years, first at W.R. Blair, then K-Mart, & later the Athlete's Foot, before retiring and moving to Florida in 1994 with her husband where she cared for her grandchildren for many years.

"Nannie" was full of warm hugs and sweet memories. She always remembered all the accomplishments and forgot the mistakes of her 5 grandchildren. Nannie was always full of proud smiles and loved them with all her heart. As they grew up, she remembered the children they were and cherished the persons they became.

She is survived by her 2 of her children: daughter, Barbara Ann Lehman, Prince Frederick, MD; son, John James Lehman, Jr., Cudjoe Key, FL; and was predeceased by her daughter, Terri Lee Lehman Demski, & daughter in law, Karen Orr Lehman.
