Brenda Elaine Schmidt of White Plains, MD died on Tuesday, May 8, 2012 at Civista Medical Center in La Plata, MD. She was 61 years old. Daughter of the late Albert Harvey Lusby and the late Evelyn Sanford Lusby.

Mrs. Schmidt was a homemaker.

Predeceased by her parents.

Survived by her beloved companion, Dana Cady of White Plains, MD; three brothers, Albert (Cubbie) Lusby of FL, Ricky Lusby of FL, and Robbie Lusby of DE; and three sisters, Rae Jean Barbone of DE, Patricia (John) Hopkins of DE, and Linda Smith of FL. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation: Tuesday, May 15, 2012 from 10AM until time of service at 12 Noon at St. Barnabas Episcopal Church (5203 St. Barnabas Road, Temple Hills, MD 20748). Clergy: Rev. Shell Kimble. Interment: Church Cemetery.
