Margaret L. Weidman, 87, of La Plata, MD passed away on April 3, 2012 at her residence. Margaret was born on March 27, 1925 to the late Marshall Royston, and Annie Royston in Washington D.C.

In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband; Robert K. Weidman. Son; Robert K. Weidman, Jr. Brother; Sony Royston, and sister; Jannie Rands.

She is survived by her Son; Paul A. Weidman. Daughters; Janet S. Hutchinson, and Roxanne L. Gobbett. Sisters; Dorothy Donaldson, Virginia McConaty, and Betty Armstrong. Also by 7 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren.

Margaret was of the Christian Faith who in earlier years attended the Riverdale Baptist Church, and then in her later years, she attended the Real Life Church. She enjoyed to Polka Dance. She always had a smile on her face, and loved to be around people. She had retired from the Department of Labor.

A life celebration will be held at the Arehart-Echols Funeral Home, P.A. in La Plata on Saturday, April 7, 2012 from 4 pm until time of funeral service at 6 pm. Pastor Todd Crawford will officiate. Interment will be private.
