William Maguire Joy, 65 of Leonardtown, MD died February 19, 2012. Born January 17, 1947 in Leonardtown, MD, he was the son of the late Ignatius Joy and Teresa T. Johnson Joy.

William spent over twenty five years driving a dump truck and was working recently for McKay's Food Store.

He is survived by his daughter Mary Shenfeld of Middletown, PA; sister Margaret Hughes of Hollywood, MD and brothers Ignatius Joy of Charlotte Hall, MD and Thomas Joy of Hollywood, MD. He is also survived by his best friend of thirteen years, Jeannette Buckler.

Funeral services will be held on February 26, 2012 from 1 p.m. at the Brinsfield Funeral Home, 22955 Hollywood Road, Leonardtown, MD with internment to immediately following at the Charles Memorial Gardens located in Leonardtown, MD.
