Thomas Lindbergh Proctor of Indian Head, MD died on Friday, February 10, 2012 at Civista Medical Center in La Plata, MD. He was 78 years old.

Mr. Proctor was a member of St. Ignatius Catholic Church in Chapel Point, MD. He grew up working with his family on their farm and was educated in the Charles County school system. He was later employed as a Laborer for various construction companies in the Maryland and Virginia areas. He continued to work with two of his brothers until his retirement. Tom enjoyed spending time with his family, going to sports events, yard sales, traveling, and watching television.

Son of the late Clements Proctor and the late Mary Alberta Harley Proctor.

Predeceased by his parents; two sisters, Elizabeth Gertrude and Elaine Lyda; three brothers, John Maxwell, Thomas Vincent, and Paul Otis Proctor.

Survived by five brothers, Thomas Dona, Joseph Sterling, John Melvin, John Clements, and James Hilton; three sisters, Mary Bernell, Virgie Regina, and Elizabeth Hazel Proctor; two sister-in-laws, one brother-in-law; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. He also leaves one that has been a close family friend and supporter, Deacon Johnny Barnes.

Visitation: Thursday, February 16, 2012 from 10AM until Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30AM at St. Ignatius Catholic Church (8855 Chapel Point Road, Port Tobacco, MD 20677) Clergy: Fr. Edward Dougherty and Deacon Johnny Barnes. Interment: Church Cemetery. Pallbearers: By Family.
