Mrs. Ridge was a Cashier for 35 plus years for the Marriott Corporation and a member of La Plata United Methodist Church and Mt. Vernon Methodist Church in Washington, DC. She was also a member of Job's Daughters International, Eastern Star, and Delta Theta Tau Sorority and The Montgomery County 4-H Club.

She especially loved being with her grandchildren and great- grandchildren.

Daughter of the late Moody Henry Sanders and the late Lucille Smith Sanders.

She is survived by one daughter, Bobbie M. (Michael) Hoglund of La Plata, MD; four grandchildren, Kim, Todd, Jaclyn and Greg Hoglund; and six great-grandchildren, Naomi, Tyler, Quentin, Jasmine, Joel, and Elise.

Her visitation will be on Thursday, January 12, 2012 from 2-4PM and 6-8PM with Funeral Service and Eastern Star and Job's Daughters services beginning at 6:30PM at Raymond Funeral Chapel (5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, MD 20646). Her internment will be private.
