George T. Jones, 65, of Mechanicsville, MD passed away on January 1, 2012 in Washington Hospital Center.

George is survived by his wife, Shirley K. Jones, father of Theresa Ball (Charles) of York PA., Yvette Allen (Erik) of Huntingtown, MD, Imogene Jones (Chuck Durant) of Chesapeake Beach, MD, Michelle Jones of Mechanicsville, MD and George C. Jones of Huntingtown, MD. Grandfather of Courtney Hunsberger, Ryan Ball, EJ and Clayton Allen, Colin Tarkington, Aiden, Brandon, Katie and Hailey Jones, he is also survived by a sister Patricia Will of Sykesville, MD.

The family will receive friends on Friday January 6, 2012 from 10- 11:30 AM at the Rausch Funeral home, PA, 8325 Mt. Harmony Lane, Owings, MD where services will follow at 11:30 AM. Interment will be in Parklawn Memorial Park, 12800 Viers Mill Rd Rockville MD at 1:30 PM.
