William Elmer "Billy" Page, Jr., 60, of Charlotte Hall, MD died December 8, 2011 at Civista Medical Center, La Plata. Born December 27, 1950 in Washington, D.C., he was the son of William E. Page, Sr. and Shirley Havenner Page. Billy worked as an electronics engineer.

Billy graduated from Pomonkey High School and served honorably in the U.S. Army in Vietnam. He received the Purple Heart for combat injuries and the Bronze Star. Even though he was confined to a wheelchair, he lived life fully. He enjoyed spending time on the water fishing, boating and crabbing. He also enjoyed riding 4 wheelers, camping in Ft. Valley, VA., playing pool, playing basketball and most of all spending time with family and friends. He was a member of the Southern Maryland Hunt Club, National Wheelchair Pool Players Assoc. and the American Legion Post 0082.

Predeceased by his father, Billy is survived by his wife, Deborah L. Page; son, William Robert Page (Heather) of Newburg, MD; mother, Shirley L. Page of Waldorf, MD; siblings, Brian David Page of Dentsville, MD, Michael Wayne Page of Budds Creek, MD, Gail Patricia Van Cleaf of Charlotte Hall, MD and Stacey Lynn Page of Portland, OR.

The family will receive friends for Billy's Life Celebration on Tuesday, December 13, 2011 from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8p.m. at the Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A., 30195 Three Notch Rd., Charlotte Hall, MD. Funeral Services will be held at Brinsfield-Echols on Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. The Rev. Robert Carter will officiate. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Gardens, Waldorf, MD. Pallbearers will be Rob Page, Brian Page, Michael Page, Marty Burch, Bobby Sylvestre and Steve Shryock. Honorary pallbearers will be Ed VanCleaf, Deke Martin, Tom Brady, David Sylvestre, Rick Clontz and Fred Weekly.

Memorial donations may be made to Calvary Methodist Church, 3235 Leonardtown Rd., Waldorf, MD 20601 or the Humane Society of Charles County, P.O. Box 1015, Waldorf, MD 20604-1015.
