Judith Shorter Farrall, 60, of Saint Michaels, Maryland, formerly of La Plata, passed away on December 1, 2011. She was born February 22, 1951 in La Plata, Maryland to Donald and Rita Shorter of Bel Alton, Maryland.

She was married October 23, 1971 to the late Leo K. Farrall, III. Judy and L.K. shared a passion for life and together built a loving family.

She is survived by her mother, Rita Shorter, of Bel Alton, Maryland; four daughters, Kimmel F. Konka and her husband, Mark, of Davidsonville, Maryland, Kyle F. Villagran and her husband, Daniel, of Annapolis, Maryland, Cassie F. Brennan and her husband, John, of Davidsonville, Maryland, and Britt F. Murphy and her husband, Matthew, of Jersey City, New Jersey; four grandchildren, Mackenzie Konka, Jake Konka, Riley Brennan and Leo Villagran; and two sisters, Lynn Nalley, of La Plata, Maryland, and Margorie Earnshaw, of Newburg, Maryland.

She was preceded in death by her father, Donald Shorter, and her husband, Leo K. Farrall, III.

Judy's true love in life was her family. Her grandchildren brought her such pride and joy. She enjoyed spending her time outside, whether it be on the beach, in the garden or fishing on the pier.

Visitation will be on Monday, December 5 from 4-7pm at St. Ignatius Church, Chapel Point. Services will be on Tuesday, December 6 at noon at St. Ignatius Church, Chapel Point. Burial will take place at St. Thomas Cemetery of St. Ignatius Church, Chapel Point. Pallbearers will be John Brennan, Richard Earnshaw, Mark Konka, Matthew Murphy, Wayne Nalley and Daniel Villagran.
