Wanda Lee Miner of Waldorf, Maryland, died on Sunday, November 6, 2011 at her home. She was 73 years old. Mrs. Miner was born on August 30, 1938 in Greeneville, Tennessee. She was the daughter of the late Marie Solomon and the late Leitus Blazer.

She worked with the Census Bureau and was a Statistical Examiner when she retired. She enjoyed working in her flower and vegetable garden and spending time with her grandchildren. She attended the First Baptist Church of St. Charles.

She is survived by her husband Robert P. Miner Sr.; children Martha A. Dorris of Ashburn, VA, Robert P. Miner Jr. and his wife Michelle of Mechanicsville, MD, Mary Lou Miner of Sykesville, MD and Tim Miner and his wife Amanda of Colonial Beach, VA; her siblings Aileen Crum and her husband Ray of Greeneville, TN, Beryl Freshour of Greeneville, TN, Bud Blazer and his wife Margaret of Greeneville, TN, Debbie Collins and her husband Wayne of Waldorf, MD; her grandchildren Alexandra Dorris, Nicholas Miner, Taylor Miner, Grace Miner, and Carson Miner; also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation on Wednesday, November 9, 2011 from 2-4PM and from 6-8PM at the Raymond Funeral Service, P.A. 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, Maryland 20646 (301-934-2920). Funeral Service beginning at 11AM Thursday, November 10, 2011 at the Raymond Funeral Service, with the Reverend Mark Hashagen officiating. Interment to follow at Trinity Memorial Gardens in Waldorf, MD. Pallbearers are her nephews, Lewis Dooley, Larry Dooley, Scott Fitzgerald, Jeff Ottinger, David Crum, family friends Andy Brosky and Matt Volland. Honorary pallbearers are Claude Carson, Ray Crum and Edward Morrell.
