Frances Boughter Conner, 91, passed away October 31, 2011 at her daughter's home in La Plata, MD following a brief illness. Frances was born in Sunbury, PA on November 30, 1919 and moved from Watsontown, PA to Haines City, FL in 1948.

She was a loving wife and mother, as well as a dedicated registered nurse with a career spanning 40 years from her graduation from the Episcopal School of Nursing in Philadelphia to her retirement as Director of Nurses of Green Clinic in Haines City, FL. She was instrumental in the growth of Green Hospital, the forerunner of the current Heart of Florida Hospital.

Frances was an avid reader and seeker of knowledge. She enjoyed crossword puzzles and traveling with friends or her daughter, finding new and different places to explore the country and around the world.

Her husband of 45 years, Arley, her sister, Mildred and her brother, George, predeceased her.

Her daughters survive her; Nancy Gill (David), Susan, and daughter of her heart, Anita. Numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive her.

Memorial services will be held November 22, 2011 in Florida.
