Mrs. Schneider was a Personnel Banker with Harbor Federal Bank in Port St. Lucie, FL and did banking for 45 years. She was a member of St. John-Vianney Catholic Church in Prince Frederick, MD and Holy Family Catholic Church in Port St. Lucie, FL where she served as a CCD Teacher and usher. She was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxillary. She enjoyed playing Bingo and hosting parties. She most enjoyed being with her family, including her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Daughter of the Rodger O'Kane and the late Annie Rose Rogan O'Kane.

Predeceased by her parents; her late husband of 55 years, Edwin C. Schneider, Sr.

Survived by three sons, Edwin C. Schneider, Jr. and his wife Lorraine of Lindenhurst, NY, Rodger E. Schneider and his wife Dawn of Port St. Lucie, FL, and James P. Schneider and his wife Julia of Bay Shore, NY; three daughters, Denise A. Parrinello and her husband Joseph of Port St. Lucie, FL, Debbie M. Mowbray, Sr. and her husband Garry, of West Babylon, NY, and Kathleen R. Ednie and her husband Richard of Hugehsville, MD; and four sisters, Sheila Joseph and her husband Don of East Islip, NY, Anne Meyer and her husband Charles of Ben Wheeler, TX, Joan Wolfe and her George of Menifee, CA, and Patricia Bowden and her husband Steve of East Islip, NY. Also survived by 12 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, November 18, 2011 at 11AM at Holy Family Catholic Church in Port St. Lucie, FL. Interment: All Saints Cemetery in Jensen Beach, FL.
