David Patrik Antezana, 39, of Mechanicsville, MD died on September 25, 2011 at his home surrounded by his family, pastors, and friends. He passed away peacefully and went home to be with the Lord. Born on June 25, 1972 in Washington, DC, he was the son of Rosa Antezana and the late Alfredo Antezana.

David was a devoted and beloved husband and a loving, proud father. He moved from Waldorf, MD (of 10 years) and resided in Mechanicsville, MD for the past 6 years.

David graduated from McNamara High School and The University of Maryland. He held a BS Degree in Criminal Justice, and worked as a Federal Probation and Parole Officer.

David loved his family, church family, and friends very much. David had a great sense of humor, and an awesome smile. He loved the lord with all of his heart, shared his faith openly, and was a testimony to all who knew him. David was a fan of Nascar and Jimmy Johnson, #48, was his favorite driver. He also enjoyed football, lacrosse, soccer, and talking with his sons and David shared a special song Cinderella by Steven Curtis Chapman with his daughter. He also loved watching sunsets at Solomons and he loved bald eagles.

Survived by his wife, Katrina Antezana, sons, Justin Antezana and Jake Antezana, daughter, Rachel Antezana, mother, Rosa Antezana of Upper Marlboro, MD, siblings, Sandra Antezana of Upper Marlboro, MD, Alfredo Antezana (Rebecca) of Darnestown, MD, and Michael Antezana (Susan) of Brunswick, MD, son-in-law of Daniel and Eleanor Doody, uncles, cousins, and a friend to so many.

The family will receive friends for David's Life Celebration on Friday, September 30, 2011 from 6 - 8:00p.m. at the Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A., 30195 Three Notch Rd., Charlotte Hall, MD. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, October 1, 2011 at 10:00a.m. at the Living Word Community Church, 39371 Harpers Corner Rd., Mechanicsville, MD 20659. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Clinton, MD.
