Jean Vion Donley, 73, of Newburg, MD, died July 9, 2011, in Manassas, VA. Born September 21, 1937, in Whitestone, VA, she was the daughter of the late Leroy Lockley and the late Pearl Elizabeth Nutt.

Mrs. Donley was a cook for the Philadelphia Public School Board. She was a member of Holy Ghost Catholic Church, Issue, MD and a member of the Ladies of Charity. Her hobbies included cooking, crocheting, playing cards, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Predeceased by her parents; husband, Joseph Donley; daughter, Brenda Brown and three brothers.

Survived by her son, Joseph Donley of Anapolis, MD; daughters, Cora Pointer of Philadlephia, PA; Judy Donley of NC; Alice and her husband Garey Peterson of Manassas, VA; brother, Thomas Hilton of Washington, DC; sister, Evelyn Spencer of VA. Also survived by 15 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Friday, July 15, 2011, from 10AM until 11AM at Holy Ghost Catholic Church, Issue, MD. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, July 15, 2011, beginning at 11AM at Holy Ghost Catholic Church. Fr. Greg Coan will officiate. Interment will be at Holy Ghost Catholic Church Cemetery.
