Marie Higdon McCann, 92, of Indian Head, MD, died May 12, 2011, at Charles County Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, La Plata, MD.

Mrs. McCann was a Secretary with the Office of Personnel Management for more than 30 years.

Born August 6, 1918, in Indian Head, MD, she was the daughter of the late Thomas "Buck" Higdon and the late Bessie Simmons Higdon.

Predeceased by her parents; husband, Thomas McCann; three brothers and four sisters. Survived by her son, Thomas M. McCann, Jr. of VA; and nephew, Wayne Higdon and his wife Debbie of Indian Head, MD.

Funeral Service and Interment at a later date at Arlington National Cemetery next to her husband.
