Robert Vern Tucker, 90, of La Plata, MD, died April 21, 2011, at his home. Mr. Tucker was a retired Major with the United States Air Force. Born May 11, 1920, in California, he was the son of the late Charles Tucker and the late Mary Tucker.

Predeceased by his parents; daughter, Pamela Joyner and son, Robert Tucker.

Survived by his wife of 67 years, Marilouise Tucker; children, Ronald Tucker and his wife Frances, Patricia Willen and her husband Craig, Gregory Tucker and his wife Gina. Geffrey Tucker, Kerry Tucker and his wife Ginny. Also survived by 17 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Tuesday, April 26, 2011, from 2PM to 4PM at Raymond Funeral Chapel, 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, MD. Interment will be on April 27, 2011, at 11AM, at Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Cheltenham, MD. Memorial Service will be Wednesday, April 27, 2011, beginning at 1PM at Good Samaritan Presbyterian Church, 13025 Good Samaritan Drive, Waldorf, MD 20601. Rev. Lisa Kenkeremath will officiate.
