Mrs. Van Horn was a homemaker all her life and enjoyed working in her flower garden and taking care of her family and home.
Daughter of the late Charles E. Wood and the late Grace Jenny Engelbretzen Wood. Predeceased by her parents; brothers, Charles E. Wood, Jr. and Raymond Wood. Survived by her husband of 65 years, Joseph E. Van Horn; sons, Joseph E. Van Horn, Jr. Of Conway, SC; Stephen R. Van Horn of Temple Hills, MD; sister, Shirley Bechtel of Charlotte Hall, MD. Also survived by two grandchildren, Joseph E. Van Horn III and Kim Van Horn. Visitation will be on Friday, March 25, 2011, from 9:00AM until time of service at 10:00AM at Raymond Funeral Chapel, 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, MD 20646. Interment will take place following the service at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Suitland, MD. Arrangements by Raymond Funeral Service, P.A., La Plata, MD. |
