Charles "Charlie" Hor, Jr., 67, of Port Tobacco, MD, died March 2, 2011, at Washington Hospital Center, Washington D.C.

Mr. Hor had 42 years of federal government service. He was an Engineering Technician for 40 years with the Naval Research Lab and spent two years at the Library of Congress. During his career he built the lunar camera which was transported via Apollo 15.

Born October 18, 1943, in Washington, DC, he was the son of the late Charles Hor, Sr. and the late Lillian Rodrigues Hor.

Predeceased by his parents.

Survived by his wife of 46 years, Janice Marie Hor; two sons, Robert Paul Hor of Hollywood, MD and Richard Charles Hor of Germantown, MD; one sister, Barbara Whitford of Centreville, VA; and two grandchildren, Ryan Paul Hor and Andrew Robert Hor, both of Hollywood, MD.

Visitation will be on Monday, March 7, 2011, from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at Raymond Funeral Chapel, 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, MD 20646.

Funeral Service on Tuesday, March 8, 2011, at 11am at Raymond Funeral Chapel, La Plata, MD. Rev. Mark Roberson will officiate.

Interment to follow at Wesleyan Memorial Gardens, La Plata, MD.
