Marsha Lynn Goldsmith, 63 of Hughesville, MD passed away on January, 21, 2011 at her residence.

Born October 22, 1947 in Chevy Chase, MD she was the daughter of Doris Glosser of Waldorf, MD and the late, Fred Alvey.

Marsha was a loving daughter, mother, and grandmother "Mimi". She also had a love for her animals, her dogs, cats, donkeys, and goats.

Marsha is survived by her husband, Earl Goldsmith of Hughesville, MD, children; Paul Nunley of Beltsville, MD, Ted Hadeed of Spotsylvania, VA, John Hadeed of Severn, MD, Aklem Hadeed of Beltsville, MD, John Goldsmith of Mechanicsville, MD and Jeannie Suite of Hughesville, MD, siblings; Fred Alvey of Waldorf, MD, Linda Lisbakken of Lake Tahoe, NV, and Pam Serra of Sacramento, CA, also survived by 21 grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be conducted on Saturday, February 5, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Old Fields Episcopal church, Hughesville, MD with Reverend Rona Harding officiating.

In lieu of flowers family requests memorial contributions be made to Hospice of Charles County, P.O. Box 1703, LaPlata, MD 20646

Interment will be private.
