Kathryn Colleen "Kathie" Windsor, 52, of Waldorf, MD, died January 9, 2011, at Civista Medical Center, La Plata, MD.

Mrs. Windsor was a Special Security Assistant with the Office of Naval Intelligence and Patuxent River Air Station for 13 years. From 1975 - 1978 she was a Customer Service Cashier for JC Penney in Forestville, MD; 1978 - 1983 worked at the Red Lobster in Camp Springs, MD; 1983 - 1996 worked for the Federal Government as Special Security Assistant. She loved cooking, board games, reading and was a concert goer "Bruce Springstein". She was quick witted and was a house sitter for animals.

Born April 26, 1958,in Washington, DC, she was the daughter of the late William Edward Hughes, Jr. And the late Audrey Louise Marble Hughes.

Predeceased by her parents.

Survived by her husband of 25 years, Robert W. Windsor; daughter, Jackie S. Windsor of Waldorf, MD; step-daughter, Michele Lee Anna Lewis of FL; brothers, William Edward Hughes III of Forestville, MD; John L. and his wife Susie Hughes of NC; sister, Sandie and her husband Henry Bright of NC; three nieces, Jessica Taylor, Tracie Johnson, Bekie Edwards; two nephews, Michael Stone and William E. Hughes V.

Visitation will be on Friday, January 14, 2011, from 2-4PM and 6-8PM at Raymond Funeral Chapel, 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, MD 20646.

Funeral Service will be on Saturday, January 15, 2011, at 10AM at Raymond Funeral Chapel.

Rev. Mark Roberson will officiate.

Interment will take place at Heritage Memorial Gardens, Poplar Hill Road, Waldorf, MD.

Memorial contributions may be made to Charles County Humane Society, P.O. Box 1015, Waldorf, MD 20604.
