Isaac William McVey, 76, of Waldorf, MD, died January 2, 2011, at his residence with Hospice.

Mr. McVey was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and served in Korea. He was a self-employed auto mechanic for 45 years at Bill's Auto Repair. He was a member of First Baptist Church of St. Charles, loved antique cars, airplanes, watching the History Channel and Food Network. He was a family man and a hard worker.

Born October 21, 1934, in Switchback, WV, he was the son of the late William Lee McVey and the late Bonnie Price McVey.

Predeceased by his parents; brother, Herbert McVey.

Survived by his wife of 54 years, Beatrice McVey; son, James William McVey and his companion Don Thomas of Silver Spring, MD; daughter, Deborah Ann Davis of Waldorf, MD; sister, Juanita Henry of Orlando, FL; grandchild, Christine Adams and her husband Richard of Waldorf, MD; great-grandchildren, Haleigh Adams and Richard Adams, Jr.

Visitation will be on Thursday, January 13, 2011, from 2-4PM and 6-8PM at Raymond Funeral Chapel, 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, MD 20646.

Funeral Service will be on Friday, January 14, 2011, at 11:30AM at Raymond Funeral Chapel.

Rev. Marvin Harris will officiate.

Interment will take place at Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Cheltenham, MD.
