Mrs. Schmuck was a Homemaker and of the Episcopal faith. In her youth, she was the European Champion for High-Jumping in England. She loved spending time with her family and grandchildren. She also enjoyed doing crafts and was an avid bowler.

She was the daughter of the late Walter Hudson and the late Florence Eliza Oram

She was predeceased by her parents.

She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Robert Richard Schmuck; four sons, Peter (Sue) Vaughan, Kevin Ellis, Mark (Diane) Ellis, and Anthony (Joanne) Ellis; three daughters, Debbie (Richard) Harlow, Christine (James) Witter, and Norma Jean (Richard) Doelger; and one brother, Derek (Beryl) Hudson. Also survived by sixteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

A Visitation will be held on Friday, October 15, 2010 from 5-8pm at Raymond Funeral Chapel, La Plata, MD.

A Funeral Service will take place on Friday, October 15, 2010 at 7pm at Raymond Funeral Chapel, La Plata, MD.

Clergy will be the Rev. Mark Roberson.

Pallbearers will be Mark, Kevin, and Anthony Ellis, Peter Vaughan, Richard Harlow, III, and Jim Witter.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Jeffrey Townsend, Stephen Ellis, and John Harlow.

Interment will follow at Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens, Laurel Point, WV.
