Landon Carl Morrill, 6 of Hughesville passed peacefully on October 1, 2010, at Johns Hopkins Hospital after his courageous battle with leukemia.

Born January 15, 2004 in Clinton, Maryland to Terence and Colleen Morrill.
They say "everything you need to know you learn in kindergarten." Landon learned everything he needed to know at T.C. Martin Elementary School in Bryantown, Maryland. He mastered in the art of spreading love and laughter to everyone he met. Landon loved to dance and sing but was happiest when he was with his family and friends. Although his battle was tough and sometimes painful, he never complained and met each day with a smile as bright as sunshine. His short life has been a beautiful inspiration to all.

In addition to his parents, Landon is survived by his sister Lindsey Sapp and her husband Andy, his sister Gracie Morrill, and brother Derek Morrill; grandparents Ed and Jackie Morrill; grandparents Carl and Linda Wilson; aunts and uncles Ted and Betsy Morrill, Tracy Dyson, Tommy Wilson, Brian and Cathy Wilson, Jeanette and Jack Hardt, Freddy and Stacy Wilson, and numerous cousins.

A life celebration and prayers were held on October 5th from 6p.m. to 8 p.m. at New Life Wesleyan Church in La Plata, Maryland. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10a.m. on October 6th at Saint Mary's Catholic Church in Bryantown, Maryland. Burial will take place immediately following.
