Mr. Hash was a Self-Employed Master Carpenter for 50 years with his business Hash Construction. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching NASCAR on his TV in his garage, and working in his garden and yard. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

He was son of the late Chester Arthur Hash and the late Mary Lizzie Koon

He was predeceased by his parents; and his brothers.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Mary Jean Hash; two sons, Jonathan Richard (Ann) Hash, Jr. of La Plata, MD, and Chuck (Desiree) Hash of La Plata, MD; three daughters, Linda Lee of Alexandria, VA, Pamela Proctor of Temple Hills, MD, and Donna (Terry) Brannan of White Plains, MD; one sister, Ann Carter of TN; and eleven grandchildren, Boog, Tammy, Shari, Dana, Amy, Brandy, Richie, Christopher, Josiah, Anthony, and Kevin. Also survived by ten great-grandchildren.

A Visitation will take place on Monday, September 27, 2010 from 5-8pm at Raymond Funeral Chapel, La Plata, MD.

A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, September 28, 2010 at 10am at Raymond Funeral Chapel, La Plata, MD.

Clergy will be the Rev. Kimberly McKnight

Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Gardens, Waldorf, MD.
