Lawrence Eugene Fawley (Larry), 67, of Waldorf died September 3, 2010 at home under Hospice care. Born August 20, 1943 in Washington, DC, he was the son of the late Carroll Edward Fawley and the late Marguerite Virginia Watts. He loved horse racing, country music, and spending time with family, friends, and members of Grace Brethren Church.

Predeceased by his parents; brother, Roger William Watts, III; and granddaughter, Heather Ann Garner.

Survived by his wife of 35 years, Zida Shirley Fawley; daughter, Charlotte M. Barlow of Pomfret, MD and Jennifer L. Fawley of Waldorf, MD; son, John E. Fawley of Westover, MD; sister, Carol and her husband Michael Meadows of Myrtle Beach, SC, and Linda and her husband Daniel Thompson of Hughesville, MD. Also survived by grandchildren, Sarah Fawley, Danielle Fawley, and Cheyenne Fawley; and great-grandchildren, Alexia Fawley and Emma Bailey; and other relatives.

Visitation: Thursday, September 9, 2010 from 9:30-11:00AM with a funeral service at 11 AM at Grace Brethren Church (13000 Zekiah Drive, Waldorf, MD 20602).

Clergy: Pastor Jeff Thornley.

Pallbearers: Paul Thompson, Billy Thompson, Kenny Windsor, James Jordan, David Carter, and Joe Fuller.

Interment: Trinity Memorial Gardens - Waldorf, MD.
