James T. Brown, "Jim", 80, of Prince Frederick, MD passed away on August 19, 2010 at his home. Jim was born in Walsenburg, Colorado to the late Mildred Barrett and James Matthew Brown.

He served in the Army in Europe during the Korean Conflict as a combat engineer. Jim works for Colorado Fuel and Iron Steel Mill for 37 years as a Crane Mill Wright. In 2001 Jim moved to Maryland where he enjoyed his retirement fishing and just being outdoors.

He is survived by his wife Caroline Brown, of Prince Frederick, son Thomas James Brown and his wife Elaine R. of Huntingtown, MD. Grandfather of James M. and Stephanie E. Brown, he is also survived by his sister, Marjorie Marie Gann of Gallatin TN.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday August 28, 2010, 11 AM at the Rausch Funeral Home, PA, 4405 Broomes Island Rd. Port Republic, MD. Interment will take place in Colorado at a later date.
