Jesse E. Williams, Jr., 82, of Hughesville, MD passed away on June 25, 2010 at his home. Born June 22, 1928 in Washington DC to the late Virginia White and Jesse E. Williams, Sr.

Besides his parents Jesse is predeceased by his wife, the late Beatrice C. Williams.

Jesse served in the Navy from 1945 to 1947. He worked for the government as an electrician.

Beloved father of Lynn Briggs and her husband Terry of Lusby, MD and Steven E. Williams and his wife Patty of Hughesville, MD. Grandfather of Stephen Shipp, Rachel Rapp, Jesse Williams, Brandon Frere, and Cheri Goode, he is also survived by 7.5 great grandchildren and a sister, Donna Sosebee.

The family will receive friends on Sunday June 27, 2010 from 2-6 P.M. at the Rausch Funeral Home, 4405 Broomes Island Road, Port Republic, MD 20676. A graveside service will take place on Monday June 28, 2010, 2 P.M. at Fort Lincoln Cemetery, Brentwood, MD.
