Ronald Stuart Pope, 47 of Lexington Park, MD died June 23, 2010 at St. Mary's Hospital.

Born June 19, 1963 in Washington, DC, he was the son of Edward E. Pope, Sr. and the late Grace J. (Zidek) Pope.

Ronald was a fan of the Washington Redskins and NASCAR racing. He was a member of the Mustang Car Club. Ronald was employed as a painter for Johnson Controls.

Ronald is survived by his ex-wife Sheryl M. Pope, his step-son, Anthony R. Gamiz of Baltimore, MD, siblings, Edward E. Pope, Jr., Steven L. Pope and Kenneth D. Pope.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a sister, Lisa S. Knott.

Family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 29, 2010 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in the Brinsfield Funeral Home, 22955 Hollywood Road, Leonardtown, MD 20650. A Memorial Service will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Interment will be private.
