Mrs. Reader was a homemaker and worked for Minstro Media at St. Joseph's Church in Pomfret, MD. In her early years, she worked for the federal government as a secretary. She was the owner/operator of Spare Time & Galaxy Arcade in La Plata, MD. She loved her cats, flowers, grand kids, and riding on a Harley.

Daughter of the late Curtis Van Barr and the late Ada Beatrice Frey Barr.

Predeceased by her parents and one sister, Joyce Vegari.

Survived by one son, Anthony M. (Karen) Salviejo of Mechanicsville, MD; one daughter, Julia A. (Greg) Hughes-Salviejo of La Plata, MD; two brothers, James Barr of NC and Frank Barr of VA. Also survived by five grandchildren, William, Tony, Karyssa, Emily, and Anna Marie.

Memorial Service: Friday, April 23, 2010 at Encounter Christian Center (29948 Three Notch Road, Charlotte Hall, MD 20622) at 11 AM.
