John C. Goldsmith, Sr., 67, of Bel Alton, MD passed away on March 11, 2010 at his Home.

He is predceased by his Father; Thomas F. Goldsmith. Brother; Thomas F. Goldsmith, Jr.

He is survived by his Mother; Mildred Goldsmith. Wife; Libby Goldsmith. Son; John C. Goldsmith, Jr. Daughters; Kandy Gagner (Ray), and Karen Miller (Howard). Sisters; Gail Yatty, and Jeanie Friedrich. Grandchild; Jackie. Also numerous nieces and nephews.

He enjoyed being outdoors and the nature. At times he would waterfowl hunt, and deer hunt. He also enjoyed farming and Cats and Dogs.

A viewing will be on Sunday, March 14, 2010 from 2pm to 5pm at Arehart-Echols Funeral Home. During the viewing, prayers will be said at 4pm. A graveside service will follow on Monday, March 15, 2010 at 10 am at Trinity Memorial Gardens in Waldorf, MD. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Charles County.
