Genevieve Threase Knight, age 79, of Huntingtown, MD died January 12, 2010 from injuries sustained in a fire that destroyed her home. She was born November 23, 1930 in Paris, France to Armand and Yvonne (Denterr) Hinniger.

Genevieve received her education in French schools and was employed as a cafeteria worker for the U.S. Air Force at Orly Field in Paris, France. It was in that cafeteria that she met and later married Ralph W. Knight, Jr. on August 31, 1959. Genevieve lived around the world as her husband was a career U.S. Airman. They settled in Huntingtown, MD in 1971.

Genevieve was preceded in death by two sons, Ralph W. Knight, III and Gilles C. Debyser Knight, and by three brothers, Armand, Perrio and Gerges Hinniger.

Surviving are her husband Ralph W. Knight, Jr., three daughters, Muriel S. Seaman and her husband Glenn of Palm Harbor, FL and twins Mildred Ann "Meme" Thomas and her husband William of Baltimore, MD and Yvonne Lea Farmer of Kennesaw, GA, nine grandchildren and one great-grandson. She is also survived by a brother Gerard Hinniger of Paris, France.
