Elwood Junior Keplinger, 79, of Dunkirk, MD passed away January 13, 2020 at his residence. He was born August 6, 1940 in Bainbridge, Ohio to Joseph and Myrtle (Mossbarger) Keplinger. Elwood joined the United States Navy July 28, 1961 and served on the USS Cambria before being discharged May 28, 1964.

He was preceded in death by his five siblings Jim, Charlie, Grace, Vivian and Anna Mae and his son Anthony Joseph Keplinger. Surviving are his wife Wanda May Thompson Keplinger; five children Theresa Law and her husband Bill of York, PA, Lynn Rutch and her husband Dave of Whiteford, MD, Keith Keplinger and his wife Kim of Winchester, CA, Christopher Keplinger and his wife Elizabeth of Bowie, MD and John Paul Kiplinger and his wife Ashley of Bowie, MD; 14 grandchildren and one great grandson.
