Laura Lee Pietrucha, 62, won her fight against Lung Cancer on Sunday, November 17, 2019. Laura was born on February 2, 1957 in Prince George's County, Maryland, where she currently resided with her high school sweetheart, Theodore Pietrucha Jr. of 36 years. She worked as a Legal Secretary for over 30 years for Wiley Rein LLP in Washington, D.C.

She is survived by her husband Theodore, son and daughter-in-law Ted and Tiffani Pietrucha and her son Timmy Pietrucha; her granddaughters Raelynn (4) and Brynnleigh (2); her mother Erma; two brothers Steven Cooper and Raymond Cooper; several nieces and nephews, and a very loving extended family.

Services will begin at 10 am on Friday, November 22, 2019 at Grace Brethren Church of Calvert County. We will celebrate her life immediately after at 11 am and a repass will follow the services at Grace Brethren Church as well. In lieu of flowers the family is asking that you donate to the Lung Cancer Research Foundation (https://www.lungcancerresearchfoundation.org) in Laura's name.
