Florence Ellen Wallace-Lindsay, 71, of Lusby, Maryland passed away on October 18, 2019, after a long and hard fought battle with pancreatic cancer. She was born to the late Mary Corean Barefoot and William David Wallace.

Florence, or "Pud" as her friends and family fondly called her, was a graduate of Calvert High School, Class of 1966. After a 33-year career with the State of Maryland, Florence began a 13-year second career as a school bus driver for Calvert County Public Schools.

Even with her busy work and home life, Florence found time to commit to her volunteer work with the local community. Some of her many commitments included the Calvert County Fair Board, The Ladies Auxiliary to the Southern Maryland Volunteer Fireman's Association, Company 7 Alarmers-St Leonard Fire Department, a 4-H Leader/Volunteer, the Calvert County Election Board and Women of the Moose.

Her true loves were her family, kids and grandkids, her pets and her students on Bus #74. Known as the "Coupon Queen", when she wasn't busy with her volunteer commitments, Florence enjoyed spending her free time attending Blue Grass Concerts, craft show hopping, playing local BINGO, and for the love of her country.

Florence is survived by her children Patricia Eason, Lisa Eason-Locy and Charles Lindsay Jr., 8 grandkids, and 4 great-grandkids. She is also survived by her siblings, David Jr, Jeanette, Mary Hellen, Sammy and Calvin.
