Joan Lee Scrivener, 73, of Prince Frederick, MD passed quietly at home on April 21, 2019 after a brief illness. Joan was preceded in death by her parents, Guy S. Scrivener and Virginia Rawlings Scrivener, siblings, Pauline Quade and Richard Scrivener Sr. She is survived by a sister, Linda A. Baker, numerous nephews and cousins.

She was born in Prince Frederick in 1945. Joan graduated from Calvert High School and immediately went to work as a secretary for the government in D C. Her career and accomplishments were many during her 35+ years. She was always professional, diligent and very organized. Her love of family had her visiting most weekends to lend a hand wherever needed on the farm.

Upon retiring she returned home to be a care taker for her Father. Joan loved the flowers in her gardens and gathering fresh vegetables from the overabundance of planting. Sharing gave her great joy. She was a lifelong member of Trinity United Methodist Church. Arrangements by Rausch Funeral Home.
