Harold Eugene Knuckles, 89, of La Plata, Maryland, passed on March 20, 2019 at Charles County Hospice House in Waldorf. Born on August 30, 1929 in Stanaford, West Virginia he was the son of the late Eva Redden Knuckles and Howard E. Knuckles. Mr. Knuckles served in the U. S. Army during the Korean War. He was a carpenter by trade, loved gardening and taking care of his barn cats, family dogs, and feeding the birds.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death his wife Barbara Lee Knuckles; son, Gary and his wife Monica Knuckles. He is survived by his children, Beverly Greenwald and partner Alan Cusack, Alan Knuckles and wife Nancy, Mark Knuckles and partner Tonya Janis; grandchildren David, Jennifer and husband Brian, Jessica and husband Brian, Samantha, Steven and Allison.

Visitation on Thursday, March 28, 2019 from 2-4PM and 6-8PM at Raymond Funeral Service, P.A., 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, Maryland 20646 where Funeral Service will be held on Friday, March 29, 2019 at 10AM. Interment at Lakemont Cemetery, 900 West Central Avenue, Davidsonville, Maryland 21035. Memorials are asked to Charles County Hospice, 2505 Davis Road, Waldorf, Maryland 20603.
