Nancy Lee Sweet, 67, of La Plata, MD passed away on January 16, 2019 at home. Born in Washington, DC on September 30, 1951 to the late Harry W. Swann and Ann E. Swann. Nancy is survived by her husband, Wayne Sweet; son, Alex Sweet; brothers, Harry Swann and Bruce Swann; and sisters, Roberta Norris and Shelia Miller.

Nancy worked as a statistician for the Census Bureau. She enjoyed being around people and traveling. She was happiest spending time at home with her family and dogs. Services are private. Arrangements by Arehart-Echols Funeral Home.
