Earl Timothy Goldring, age 55, of Waldorf, Maryland died December 8, 2018 at Charles County Hospice House in Waldorf, Maryland. Earl was a Veteran of the United States Marine Corps serving as a Corporal and was proud of serving his country. While in the military, he traveled to 41 countries. He went on to become a Security Officer/Manager for 25 plus years with numerous government contractors.

He was a lifetime resident of the Washington Metro area and was a member of LifePoint Church in Waldorf, Maryland. He loved all sports and was a big Redskins fan. He enjoyed watching TV and comedy shows, dancing, socializing, and different cultures and their foods. He had a comedic sense of humor. He was also a mentor to people and loved being with family. His travel to the Mohammed Ali Museum in Louisville, Kentucky was an honor.

He was the son of Earl Bernard Goldring and Mary Frances Barnes Goldring. In addition to his father, he is also predeceased by his sisters, Angela Goldring Dion and Jaliyah Scriber. In addition to his mother, he is also survived by his wife of 12 years, Brenda Somerville Goldring; his sons, Andre Goldring and James Thomas and his daughters, Shannon Smallwood and Natasha Curtis. He is also survived by a number of uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Friends received on Friday, December 21, 2018 from 10:30AM until time of funeral service at 12 PM at LifePoint Church, 10395 Berry Road, Waldorf, Maryland 20603. Interment to follow with Marine Corps Honors at Maryland Veterans Cemetery, 11301 Crain Highway, Cheltenham, Maryland 20623. Memorials in Earl's name are asked to LifePoint Church.
