Charles Wright "Charlie" Wills, 78, of Indian Head, Maryland died November 6, 2018 at the University of Maryland Charles Regional Medical Center in La Plata, Maryland. Charlie was a Safety Inspector with G.S.A. for 30 plus years and was a member of St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church in Indian Head, Maryland.

He was also a past EMS Chief, past President, a Life Member, and a Chaplain for the Potomac Heights Volunteer Fire Department of Rescue Squad where he provided 64 years of active service to the community. He has held numerous positions at the county and state level and was one of the most well-known EMT instructors ever.

He was the son of Doyne R. Wills, Sr. and Clara M. Latham Wills. In addition to his parents, he is also predeceased by his brothers, Harry L. Wills and Doyne R. Wills, Jr. He is survived by his son, Charles M. Wills (Shewana); his daughter, Andrea M. Wills-Hooper (Sammy); his sister, Mollie Johnson; and his grandchildren, Makenzie and Aidan Hooper.

Friends received on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 from 2-4PM and 6-8PM with Fire Department Prayers at 7PM at Potomac Heights Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Squad, 73 Glymont Road, Indian Head, Maryland 20640. Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, November 15, 2018 at 10AM at St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church, 30 Mattingly Avenue, Indian Head, Maryland 20640. Interment to follow at Sacred Heart Catholic Church Cemetery, St. Mary's Avenue, La Plata, Maryland 20646. Memorials in Charlie's name may be sent to Potomac Heights Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Squad, 73 Glymont Road, Indian Head, Maryland 20640. Arrangements by Raymond Funeral Service.
