Barbara F. Collins took the hand of Jesus on Saturday morning November 3rd. She leaves behind a large, loving and grieving family. Mom worked at Charlotte Hall Veterans Home and St. Marys County Department on Aging for many years and enjoyed her position as Activity Director. Mom will be missed, but always in our hearts, living forever.

Born in England on August 29, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Ellen (Smith) Lee. Her husband Bud Collins preceded her in 2010. Barbara was a devoted wife and mother. She enjoyed making crafts and working with the elderly. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister Lila Keenan, and grandson Tommy Lee Latham.

She is survived by her children, Tony (Lois) Collins of Princess Anne, Donna Collins of Princess Anne, Barbara Collins Waters (Clyde) of Salisbury, Tracy Collins Ebach (Paul) and Jill Collins Ayers (Chris) all of Mechanicsville, Md., grandchildren Kelly C. Green, Andrea Collins, Trent, Matt, Donny and Wes Bernhardt, Brittney Shipman, Laura Ebach, Christopher, Emma, Abigayle and Andrea Ayers, sisters Sadie Lee and Gladys Loverin, brother Tony Lee, 15 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral was held at 10:30 A.M. Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at Hinman Funeral Home, P.A. 11673 Somerset Ave., Princess Anne, MD with a visitation one hour prior to the service. Her son, Tony Collins will officiate. Interment followed at Maryland Eastern Shore Veterans Cemetery in Hurlock, MD. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Coastal Hospice, P.O. Box 1733, Salisbury, Md. 21802 or St. Jude's, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Arrangements are in the care of Hinman Funeral Home, P.A.
