Richard A. Moren, 88, of Chesapeake Beach Maryland passed on Thursday August 16, 2018 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Born in New York, New York he was a son of the late Ivan P. and Olga (Gillam) Moren. He was the beloved husband of Rosemarie J. (Valeri) Moren. They celebrated their 64th anniversary in November 2017.

He was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He was the owner and operator of Moren Jewelers in Silver Spring, Maryland. He enjoyed gardening, walking the boardwalk, spending time with his friends at the moose lodge and the American Legion, and most of all, spending time with his family.

Along with his wife, he is survived by two sons, Rob Moren (Gemma), John Moren (Jennifer), a Daughter; Karen Moren (Ron Ressler), six grandchildren; James, Christine, Zachary, Erin, Katherine, and Hannah. A Memorial Gathering will be held for Richard on Sunday, August 26, 2018 from 1-3 PM and a Memorial Service immediately following at Lee Funeral Home Calvert P.A. 8200 Jennifer Lane, Owings, MD 20736. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Richards memory to Calvert Hospice.
