Pearl Mae Crutchfield, 76, of Port Tobacco, Maryland, died on April 16, 2018 at the University of Maryland Charles Regional Medical Center in La Plata. Born on February 8, 1942 in St. Mary's County, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Josephine Quade Gray and Martin Goddard Gray. Pearl worked as a cashier in the La Plata IGA Grocery Store and the Red Top Store in Faulkner. She enjoyed reading, doing puzzles and being with her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Pearl is preceded in death by her grandson John Bowling; siblings Margaret DeMarr, Maude Coombs, Lucy Gray, Leonard Gray, Lawrence Gray and Elmer Gray. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Jack Carter Crutchfield; daughters Laura L. Lindamood and her husband Douglas, Karen E. Bowling and her husband Leonard, and Joy C. McKinney; grandchildren Douglas Lindamood Jr., Jeffrey Lindamood, David Bowling, Kelsi Miller, and Haley McKinney; great grandchildren Jake Lindamood, Shelby Lindamood, Brandon Lindamood, and Paige Bowling; siblings Mary Farrell, Joseph Gray, and Billy Gray.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 24, 2018 from 9:30 AM until time for service to begin at 11:30 AM at Raymond Funeral Service, P.A. 5635 Washington Avenue La Plata, MD. Interment to follow at Trinity Memorial Gardens in Waldorf, MD. Pallbearers are Doug Lindamood, Leonard Bowling, Jeffrey Lindamood, Doug Lindamood Jr., David Bowling, Jimmy Gray and Danny Schemery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to National Kidney Foundation Finance Department, 30 East 33rd Street, New York, NY 10016 or online at www.kidney.org/donate.
