Mary Helen Tippett, 78, of Mechanicsville, MD passed away on February 10, 2018 at her residence in Mechanicsville, MD. Mary Helen was born to the late Sydney Turner and the late Eunice Graves Turner on May 27, 1939 in Mechanicsville, MD. Mary Helen enjoyed painting. She was a devoted housewife and mother.

In addition to her parents, Mary Helen was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Elwood Tippett; her sons, Timothy Elwood and Jeffrey Lloyd Tippett. She is survived by her son, Joseph Sidney Tippett (Moriah Toepper) of Mechanicsville, MD; her brothers, Jimmy and Jerry Turner; five grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

Family will receive friends for Mary Helen's Life Celebration visitation on Friday, February 16, 2018 from 9:30am to 10:30am at Brinsfield Funeral Home, 30195 Three Notch Road, Charlotte Hall, MD. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 13715 Notre Dame Place, Bryantown, MD 20617 at 11:00am. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
