Edwin Joseph Bogaczyk, 97, of Waldorf, Maryland, died on November 30, 2017 at Morningside House in Waldorf. In addition to his parents, Bo was preceded in death by his wife Ann M. Bogaczyk; his sister Lorraine. He is survived by his special companion Lin and close friends, Jeanette and Larry Wagner and their family.
Fondly known as "Bo", Mr. Bogaczyk was born on August 11, 1920 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Cecilia and Joseph Leon Bogaczyk. Bo served in the U. S. Air Force during World War II, Korea and Vietnam. He was Honorably Discharged after 32 years of service at the rank of Senior Master Sergeant. Bo was an accomplished cabinet maker who also enjoyed gardening, photography, dancing and reading mystery novels. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Knights of Columbus. Bo was of the Catholic faith and attended Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church in Waldorf.
A visitation will be held on Monday, December 11, 2017 from 10 AM until time for Mass to begin at 11 AM at Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church, 100 Village Street, Waldorf, MD 20602. Interment for Bo will be held at a later date and time at Arlington National Cemetery with his wife. Arrangements by Raymond Funeral Service.
