Virginia Lea Weimer, 89, of Charlotte Hall, MD passed away at St. Mary's Hospital in Leonardtown, MD on July 25, 2017. Virginia was born to the late Paul and Margaret Kienhofer in Cumberland, MD on December 3, 1927. Virginia worked as a Telephone Operator at C&P before becoming a full time mom and homemaker. She enjoyed ceramics, painting and flowers.

In addition to her parents, Virginia was predeceased by her husband, Bernard Weimer and her sister, Mary Jane Burke. Virginia is survived by her son, Bernard Glenn Weimer (Cynthia); daughters, Sandy Bridgett (Charles), Patricia Wright, (Grant Williams), Gina Pimentel (Robert); twelve grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.

Family will receive friends for Virginia's Life Celebration Viewing on Sunday, July 30, 2017 from 3-6pm with prayers at 6pm at Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, 30195 Three Notch Road, Charlotte Hall, MD 20622. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00am on Monday, July 31, 2017 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 13725 Notre Dame Place, Bryantown, MD 20617 with Msgr. James Lockman officiating. Interment will follow at the church cemetery.
